I didn’t learn this from a retreat in Rishikesh or a podcast hosted by a guy named Brad with a PhD in breathwork.
I learned it in the middle of a 15-tab meltdown—emails pinging, Slack on fire, cortisol raging.

Here’s the truth they don’t put in wellness brochures:

Modern life is designed to keep you unwell.

Hyper-productivity isn’t success.
Hustle culture isn’t freedom.
Silence isn’t laziness.
It’s clarity. It’s strategy. It’s rebellion.

 

🔍 What Stillness Actually Is:

  • Stillness is not sitting cross-legged chanting om for 2 hours.
  • Stillness is pausing between the impulse and the reaction.
  • Stillness is looking your notifications in the face and choosing not to care.
  • Stillness is how you win when everyone else is burning out.

 

Peesh’s Weekly Practice:

The 3-Minute Stillness Reset

  1. Set a timer for 180 seconds.
  2. Sit. No scrolling. No playlist. No “productivity”.
  3. Observe your breath like it owes you money.
  4. When your mind starts barking orders, just whisper,

“Not now. I’m with Peesh.”

Do it daily. Make it sacred. Watch your nervous system thank you in mysterious ways.
