But real self-control does not come from pressure. It comes from  inner stillness . When the mind becomes quiet and the nervous system settles, your responses naturally become wiser. You don’t have to force calm. Calm becomes your default state. Control Creates Tension When people try to control everything internally, they usually create more tension. They monitor every thought.
